But if astral temples are upgraded mindscapes, tulpas should have no problem projecting a form into them to "live" in them, but that strikes me as a fluff detail (might not be for you though).

Say guys, I tried to read up on astral temples, but the only information sources I found expect you to believe their words without any... I dunno, historical background I guess. So, as (most likely) more experienced practioneres would you happen to know some good literature on the topic?

You can do all kinds of things to manipulate the fabric of a mindscape, but to make it something more than just a mental illusion you'd have to find a way to connect it to the material plane, which seems highly complicated, if it's even possible

Well, one of my theories was that the whole manipulating-your-environment-via-"magic" trick might be partially explainable if you could manage to train your body to interfere with the local electromagnetic field
